Third-Party Service Providers continue to play increasingly larger and more complex roles in the processing of ACH transactions. The ACH Rules have definitions for various types of Third- Party Service Providers and financial institutions must understand and properly categorize the roles of all parties to a particular transaction. This session will explain the definitions for Third-Party Service Providers acting as Sending/Receiving Points, Third-Party Senders, and Direct Access relationships. We'll also review registration for Third-Party Senders and Direct Access Debit Participant status.
